South Seas is one of the mermaids designed for us by Vicky Graham. Stitched by Vicky, the model is stitched over 2 on 28 count Light Blue Zweigart Lugana. Stitchcount is 112 x 133, for a finished design size 8" x 9.5".
This design uses DMC floss, Mill HillBeads, Kreinik Blending Filaments and Braid, Estaz #12 for the seaweed,, and small seashells you will need to find at a craft shop or you could subsitute small charms. Oher seashels were stitched onto our model, as well as a small seahorse. These are also available at craft shops... or you could use charms.
